Accommodation

The Old Ship

The Old Ship is Funk & Soul Weekender's main official hotel where you can join like minded festival goers and be just a stone's throw from the main festival beach site and late night venues. It's one of Brighton's most characterful hotels Dating back to 1559, this is Brighton's first recorded inn – and what a fascinating history it claims. In the 18th century, the hotel's daily 'Flying Machine' transported guests to London; the Prince Regent held a ball here, Paganini played from the Assembly Rooms' balcony, and Dickens gave readings during his stay
